Last Tuesday, Toyota Motors Corp. announced that it has developed the first-ever rear window curtain shield air bag air bag that is supposed to protect back-seat passengers in the event of a rear-end collision.
The new airbag will deploy from the roof lining above the rear window and spreads like a curtain-like barrier to protect the heads of the rear passengers. As far as I can remember, Toyota Land Cruisers where meant for off-road use in the good old days. But look at them now. They are mostly used by government and top brass people as luxury vehicles rather than the usual Mercedes Benz or Limousines before.

Perhaps the thing here is ride and space. The roads we all find ourselves in as well are not as smooth and with the issue of maintenance roaming in the air, it is not surprising why most people are getting wise and taking the initiative of these improved vehicles for better performance on a 4×4.

The Toyota Corolla is one of the hottest product lines that the Japan-based manufactured offers each year and the 2009 edition is expected to be much awaited soon as people do every year.
