In the recent years, we have seen the estimable growth of Toyota car sales. Not only that, because recently, Fortune magazine included Toyota in its “Most Admired Companies” list. The trend shows that Toyota has been continuously dominating the US market when talking about car sales. GM, Ford and Chrysler had been experiencing a descending slope while Toyota is encountering the contradictory.

Toyota has also remained a part of the Fortune magazine’s “Most Admired Companies” for two years in a row. The reason for this, according to American consumers, is that, Toyota has been doing very good quality in listening to what their customers want. Toyota never gave in to the “hottest car in the world” competition. They made cars based on what the consumers need, and this style of marketing surely paid off.

We all hear and watch the races. Most of them showcase the new models which are supposedly used as main forms of sponsorship. In return, the Toyota dealers use them to be able to gain some exposure as far as endorsements and making noise today. We often see them racing the new models which will eventually be offered in the market.

Such is a marketing ploy to build on by Toyota. Most car manufacturer do it. They provide a stock car to which the car racing team will enhance it accordingly to showcase car performance. A worthy investment considering many people today are simply crazy about cars.

Biggest Toyota Recall

Apparently, we are in the era of recalls due to overlooked defects today. Cars are not spared from this as Toyota has now reportedly recalled over 539,500 vehicles due to a defective power window in the United States.

One of the sensitive parts of cars today would be their all power feature. Power windows were meant to provide an ease of use whenever the need to bring down those windows occurs. While you can always make do with the manual windows, these added features installed in most Toyota Corolla and Matrix models have a glitch which may see them loosen up and bolt away from the doors of their respective car lines.

On vehicles equipped with power windows, the driver and front passenger glass bolts may loosen and cause the door glass to separate from the window regulator, Toyota said. Vehicles equipped with manual windows are not subject to the recall.
