The new hatchback from Volkswagen, the Volkswagen A6 Golf may look like a toy, but it packs a good punch for something so small. Taking their popular compact to the next level, the designers and engineers at VW have taken the already great Golf concept and made it better. Now added are buffed up interiors that can go toe to toe with even the high end interiors of luxury cars. With a width of 70 inches and a length 165.3 inches, the standard A6 Golf comes equipped with a six gear transmission and a 1,968cc, 2.0-liter TDI engine. The wheel base is 101.5 inches with 18 inch wheels. Not bad. The glass has also been made thicker, and has PVB acoustic film that is 0.1mm-thick. The people of VW are particularly proud of the adaptive chassis control system, which adjusts to the required setting of the driver.

It was introduced in the 2009 North American International Auto Show, the FT-EV is a concept vehicle that is fully battery powered. The company has just released the Prius, their hybrid product that has been called the first viable and working hybrid electric vehicle but they needed something suited for the long-haul to answer the need fro full-electric vehicles that had no emissions whatsoever. Designed for the Urban commuter with space and size in consideration, the surprising four-seater is green and it is small enough to park comfortably in congested city centers. The move towards compacts are here and many car makers have taken up the call to green and clean small cars that are more suited for the city’s of the future.
Designed and showcased as a concept vehicle, it may as well follow the Yaris as the next compact to hit the market. The company has also managed to snatch the lead as the world’s biggest automaker but it was immediately followed by news that the company is suffering from the current economic crisis. One of Japan’s premier auto makers, what they lack in power and size, they made up for in customer satisfaction. Toyota will always be in the headlines for many years to come as one of the best and the largest automaker in the world.

They have made the mark and they’re proud of it. Toyota has attained it’s goal of overcoming GM’s grip as the top auto maker with the most number of vehicles on the road to date. Why you may ask? Try going to their home page and you’ll see. Going in, you already get the customization you need and you get it straight from the dealer. No negotiations, no fuss, simple and straight click and select. Try doing that with other auto makers who give their cars, on a “take it” or “leave it” basis.
Their ability to give the customer what they want from the factory makes them more customer friendly. Their add-on’s are also quick and the best thing, you don’t have to wait for an upgrade from the dealer. They deliver you the car you ordered with all the add-on’s straight. Their tried and tested brands have long been taking over the roads with comparable features and economy as their main advantage. Why stick a V8 where a V6 can do as much with some technology. They have adapted their brands to the specific markets such as in Asia where they have the Innova and a more stylish and sporty looking Venza for the US market. They adapt and give their customers what they want and need fast.

The Toyota Corolla 2009 model has more to offer. Literally, more available power and additional standard safety features and more innovative styling. The compact sedan grew 2.5 inches wider nut it maintained the well designed interior and exterior. Toyota Corolla also now offers five trim types for the coming year. This year it only offered three levels. Now we have the Toyota Corolla base model, LE, XLE, the sporty S model which has a 132hp 1.8liter 4cylinder engine and the tip of the line Toyota Corolla XRS which features a 17 inch mag wheels, 4 wheel disc brakes, a far cry from other models with only rear drum brakes. Safety features packed in ABS, anti-skid, Traction control, curtain side and front side airbags.

Toyota, the world’s second-largest automaker, introduced the iQ small car in Japan. This is in direct response to the ever rising gasoline prices and tighter environmental rules. And the current trend is going green and more fuel-efficient vehicles. The iQ is powered by a one-litre engine. And it costs between 1.4 million yen or $15,700 Cdn and 1.6 million yen or $17,900 Cdn and will go on sale this November 20th. The car company which is based in Japan’s Toyota City is hoping to sell around 2,500 iQs a month in Japan alone. Toyota iQ measures only 298.5 centimeters long. Ultra compact and it can carry three adults and a child. Next year, they are planning to release iQ in Europe. The iQ is slightly longer than Daimler’s AG Smart for Two. It reported that this year, the said company decreased sales by 3.2%. And they are all making ways to attract customers into buying their products.

In the recent years, we have seen the estimable growth of Toyota car sales. Not only that, because recently, Fortune magazine included Toyota in its “Most Admired Companies†list. The trend shows that Toyota has been continuously dominating the US market when talking about car sales. GM, Ford and Chrysler had been experiencing a descending slope while Toyota is encountering the contradictory.
Toyota has also remained a part of the Fortune magazine’s “Most Admired Companies†for two years in a row. The reason for this, according to American consumers, is that, Toyota has been doing very good quality in listening to what their customers want. Toyota never gave in to the “hottest car in the world†competition. They made cars based on what the consumers need, and this style of marketing surely paid off.

In the U.K., Toyota admits that they had underachieved in making it big for the family hatch market. They are putting demands on the latest Auris diesel to start correcting the matters at hand. It has been impossible to talk about this Toyota Auris models without at least taking a glance at the Corolla Models. Toyota didn’t really make it big in the U.K. with this considerable model.

Toyota released a single-seat electric car that resembles a soft-cuddly armchair on a tri-wheels vehicle and it also comes with virtual software programmed inside the car that learns the driver’s tastes and personality. Toyota Motor Corp. dubbed its “i-swing†which will be shown at a stage on the Tokyo Motor Show.

The new Toyota Sienna is a 4-door minivan that can accommodate up to 8-passengers available in 9 trims and the CE FWD with 7 Passenger Seating to the XLE Limited AWD.
The CE FWD is a 7 Passenger Seating equipped with a standard 3.5-liter, V6 engine powered with 266-horsepower that achieves 17-mpg in the city and 23-mpg on the highway. The XLE Limited AWD model is equipped with a standard 3.5-liter, V6 engine powered with 266-horsepower that achieves 16-mpg in the city and 21-mpg on the highway. The 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both models.

The 2008 Toyota Yaris is a 3-door, 5-passenger family coupe, or family sedan, available in 8 trims, ranging from the Liftback 5-Speed Manual Transmission to the Sedan S 4-Speed Automatic Transmission.
The Liftback 5-Speed Manual Transmission and the Sedan S 4-Speed Automatic Transmission are equipped with a standard 1.5 liter, 106 horsepower engine that achieves 29-mpg in the city and 36-mpg on the highway. Both models’ manual transmission overdrive is designed standard.
The 2008 Yaris is a carryover from 2007 which has excellent fuel economy, great handling, fun to drive, and provides great comfort.
